Meghan Lane-Fall, MD, MSHP, FCCM is a critical care anesthesiologist and physician-scientist committed to the provision of safe, effective patient care and interprofessional practice and research. Her research agenda is focused on implementation science – the empiric study of strategies to facilitate the uptake and sustained use of evidence-based practices. Dr. Lane-Fall is the founding Co-Director of the Penn Center for Perioperative Outcomes Research and Transformation and the Director of Acute Care Implementation Research at the Penn Implementation Science Center at the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics. Outside Penn, Dr. Lane-Fall serves on the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research and as the Vice President of the Anesthesia Patient Safety Foundation.
